Welcome to Our Story
Sheena’s Dolls Houses & Miniatures evolved back in 2010 when I opened my unique Dolls House Shop in New Zealand called Feilding Dolls Houses & Collectables.
Having emigrated from the UK where Dolls House hobbying is both extensive and extremely popular, I was bitterly disappointed to find products difficult to source in NZ with few outlets, with no availability to view, choose and order miniature products. Given my passion for the hobby, which I enjoyed with my late mother from childhood to adulthood (together creating and furnishing 5 large dolls houses) my passion for unique design, unusual products etc allows me to collaborate with customers to help them create the dolls house /miniatures project of their dreams with products sourced of the finest materials and designs to create something incredibly special. I believe in quality, attention to detail, exceptional customer service plus the opportunity to offer unique products for even the most discerning enthusiast to enjoy.
We are now an online store with consultations or visits by appointment being accommodated by prior arrangements. If you reside in the Canterbury area, South Island, I am happy to do home visits/consultations, especially for Retirement Village inquiries.

Like many of you, particularly in recent years, customers continually tell me of their dismay and annoyance when sourcing their desired Dolls House or item of Furniture or Accessory their astonishment at the prohibitive shipping costs - often more expensive or even double the price of the item itself -sadly a regular occurrence nowadays for our intended purchases.
Here at Sheena’s Dolls Houses & Miniatures, I am thrilled to announce I decided to take matters in hand, for customers old and new, to now produce my own range of Dolls Houses, Furniture, and Accessories, Made To Order especially for you and better still made here in New Zealand!
My goal is to continue make our wonderful hobby more accessible and less costly for us Kiwis by cutting out those prohibitive overseas postage charges.
We have our Dolls House Range (Children to Adults) with Furniture and Accessories available in many cases, in all 3 scales 1.12,1.24 and 1.48
We now offer Custom Orders and I would be delighted to work with you to satisfy and delight you with your new Dolls House in addition to our bespoke designs /ranges of Made To Order items.
It is interesting to note we have enthusiasts who are keen to modernise the current Dolls House world moving beyond its traditional roots whilst retaining the historical period charm for those who wish to enjoy it. Creating more contemporary dolls houses akin to todays living also allows the hobby to refresh, be relevant and exciting for a new generation.
